I am unique
never before has life created one like me

I am imbued with the power to change my life situations
and also to create three out of one plus two
I am gifted
Life itself is the greatest gift anyone could ever recieve
I am grateful
for life with all its joy and pain is the only life I know
and I see beauty
and I know the joy of loving and being loved
and I know the thrill of laughter
I know the simplicity and warmth of a child's tenderness
I can enjoy the gifts of nature
the flowers and butterflies
changing colour leaves
cricket songs and songbird dances
the mighty ocean~beach sand and the sweetness
of nature fruits
moonlight and cloud images in flight
and I am free to love
free to be
I am
and in the final analysis I wake up to the naked reality that
I am alone and I alone am responsible
always
and the choices is always mine
to be miserable
or gay.
